Design Process

The graphics on a vehicle can be simple and subtle with a logo on the doors or it can be a full vehicle wrap that steals the attention of every passerby. We’ll help you achieve your goal in terms of advertising your business.

We highly recommend having a strong and consistent brand that carries through all of your marketing collateral including business cards, website, and vehicles.

Vinyl Types

There are several types of vinyl on the market today. Some are low cost and short lived, while others are designed to last 10 years or more.

We can do solid color cut vinyl or full color printed vinyl.

Our recommended vinyl for full color designs and wraps is 3M IJ180c with a protective over laminate.

Cut Vinyl Graphics

Benefits: Solid color, outdoor rated, fade resistant

Life Expectancy: 5 to 10+ years

Our vinyl cutter cuts solid color vinyl into lettering and graphics by following vector lines in our computer. The unwanted pieces are weeded out with tweezers and then an application tape is applied to the top. After the vehicle receives a thorough cleaning the vinyl is applied. It’ll take a little effort but it’s also removable if/when needed.

Vehicle Wraps

Benefits: Full color photo quality printing, outdoor rated, protective laminate, air release technology allowing for near bubble free installation around curved surfaces.

Life Expectancy: 5 to 10+ years. Read the pdf file at bottom of page to learn how to get more life out of your wrap.

How long does it take?

A logo on the doors can often be done within a couple days or a week if the artwork/logo is in vector format and consists of only 1-3 colors. We will need your vehicle at our shop for a few hours.

Vehicles with lots of graphics sometimes are scheduled a few weeks out so that there is plenty of time for the design process. Full wraps often take 1-2 days. It\’s rare, but there is always the potential that some vinyl graphics will get ruined during installation and we will need to reprint, allow them to dry a day, and then laminate the new graphics. If you have a deadline please allow enough time for worst case scenarios.

Cost & Payment

Vehicle graphics come in all shapes and sizes therefore it is nearly impossible to post all of the prices. Feel free to stop in, call, or email us and we can work up a quote for you.

Most people that come to us are surprised at how affordable it is to get logos on their vehicle doors.
Full wraps are an investment, and when viewed as such they have a significant pay off. Partial wraps are easier on the pocket book and can have just as much impact when designed well.

After you have approved the quote and before we initiate work we request a 50% deposit, with the balance billed at the completion of the project.

How long do they last?

When good quality vinyl is used, the graphics can be expected to last 5 to 10 years or more. It is largely dependent on the care and use of your vehicle.

Warranty

Our vinyl vehicle graphics are guaranteed for 1 year. Occasional small bubbles and small wrinkles are unavoidable, although if the vinyl fails or peels off we will fix it at no cost. We are proud of our attention to detail and our customer service.
